Peeping Tom isn't even in the same league as Fantomas, Bungle, FNM, anything Patton does with Zorn,Tomahawk, ect. I don't know why everyone always brings them into the conversation when discussing his work. Peeping Tom is boring and generic compare to his rest. It's mainstream pop garbage in comparison. I like a few songs, but it's still boring. Lovage is much better, and musically, it's one of Mike's least good work - but still more enjoyable than Peeping Tom or Patton Vs. The Xecutioners.

Haha, you can tell this is Terry Bozzio on drums just by the absurd setup. No need to wait even for a shot of his head. This is cool, I had no idea Fantomas had played with him before. I've seen them once, but with Dale Crover instead of Lombardo. As far as these 3 drummers go I couldn't give a fuck which one is there: they're all awesome. So completely different from each too. I think Lombardo probably works best for them though,

Patton is the fuckin' Midas of music. I cannot find any words to describe how much I love this guy, how this guy changed my life with his music. I love all his projects from FNM, Tomahawk or Peeping Tom to crazy Mr Bungle or Fantomas. It's awesome that he made music to which I can party, get drunk while I'm fucked up, have sex, go jogging, have a romantic dinner with my gf, or simply light a cigarette, have a cup of coffee and just relax...

Terry is a great drummer, but this isn't his fit. Although Dave Lombardo isn't as technically proficient as Terry, he plays with more emotion and less academic rigidity. Which is perfect for a nasty ugly band like Fantomas imo. Although if you put the situation into context (Dave was on tour with Slayer when this was played) I can't imagine who would do better at learning crazy drum parts like Fantomas than Terry as quick as I am sure he does.

The people who think that the drummer sucks or whatever.... You have no idea how stupid you sound. He's not drumming off beat on accident. He's making polyrhythms and ripping up on some jazz time. This guy (Terry Bozzio) played with Frank Zappa and has stepped in to fill another drummer's shoes with numerous heavy metal acts, including the likes of Steve Vai, Slipknot, Dokken, and others. He hangs out with Billy Sheehan and Jeff Beck. His understanding of music is beyond yours. HAHAHA!!!

It's because his arms and legs move faster than a weasel on meth. It's just an optical illusion. Also, the dude is what's called a "melodic drummer". He drums melodies and thinks in notation. He'll make you a song on drums. He doesn't need any other instruments. He's a drum composer, not a dumb drum masher like you're used to.
