Also, you only need the retail version. Both games support custom maps, however Empire at Wars maps cannot be played in Forces of Corrupton and vise-versa.
Um, It's hard to explain since it's very com plicated, but the most important thing to know is that to place a unit on the map, you press and hold the "Shift" key, then click where you want it. For the rest of how to use the map maker, you need to read the help files.

Google search: File Front. Then, at file front, search for Empire at war, then look for the editor.

Make sure it's in your maps folder, and then start up the game and click custom maps in the map selection screen.

no this is the lowest detail setting coz i play it online and it runs fineon high in which it looks 100x better
