Aw cute video...except it's a total bummer you bought a pittie from a breeder though. only 1 in 600 homeless pitbulls find a loving home. It's really a shame to breed or buy when millions of great pitbulls like this die in shelters. Giving a breeder money for a pitbull puppy is sentencing thousands and thousands of pits to death. Shame. Serious Shame.

Pit bulls are great dogs. Only reason a lot of people are afraid, or they are banning them to breed is cause owners tend to breed of the same family. You know... brother and sister, from the same mother.

Tends to screw the dog up. -And just environment. I'm not a huge pit expert, but they are great dogs.

We were thinking of getting a Boxer.. Not sure how my 9 year old Cockatiel would be with a fully trained Boxer who has never been around domestic birds.

@jjcuttiep Not exactly. Many people get pit bulls because they hear "pits are just so lovely, they're only aggressive if you train them to be". Just like a lab is bred to retrieve things, a pit is a natural born fighter. They can be loving animals, but pit owners need to go above and beyond to make sure their animal is socialized with as many types of people and animals as possible right from the beginning. Never assume your pit isn't capable of being part of the statistic.
