  • "Nevada is heavily invested in higher education." The fact is that Nevada spends less per capita on higher education than any state except Florida. (Furthermore, significantly, Florida's unemployment rate is the third highest in the nation - and guess who's first?) This dishonest video comes from the same person who told a flat-out lie in his newspaper column on this subject, and when I caught him in the lie, claimed I had "misinterpreted" his statement.

  • Watching Mr Gibbons disingenuously talk around the issue only reinforces my conviction that he is quite simply, a dishonest person. 500 characters is nowhere near enough to counter his sleight-of-hand statistics. He calculates spending per student instead of spending per capita, he amazingly claims that the net migration of people (most of them highly UNeducated) is an evidence of attractiveness of Nevada to investment and jobs! (He's unaware that we lead the nation in UNemployment?)
