I can understand not wanting to be the "golf caddy" for the main person or what not, but at the same time I want my character to be unique- not just the same person that everyone else is playing as. And I would hope for two things just from watching this trailer: 1) the septim line is somehow related to this dragonborn character and 2) as was mentioned, more races (perhaps the akaviri peoples) will be introduced (maybe playable). I personally can't wait to see what Bethesda has up their sleeves.

I think actually "the return" is actual the return of the Akaviri people because the Akaviri are often affiliated with reptiles such as dragons and snakes.. And Tiber Septim which is "dragonborn" is the one who drove them back.. possibly the one "they" fear. I also make this prediction because the setting is skyrim, where the akaviri mostly made base.. right?

Storywise it´s fine, but at the end, you just guide that guy to the temple, and BAM.

...all that was left was you, left on the sidewalk, although you did most of the work. In Morrowind, you didn´t start as an almighty badass. Storywise it had the great idea of saying: "You are not the Nerevarine. But you could become him." You had to fullfill a prophecy, which didn´t just feel like "LOLOL I ARE THE CHOOSEN ONE" but like an actual burden.

@Sephiroth5008 I understand your feelings on that issue...it was a challenge to become Nerevarine whereas The Champion of Cyrodiil just kinda fell into the role. But keep in mind thats just what The Elder Scrolls are...prohecies that will one day come to pass. The Elder Scrolls describes in detail every possible outcome to it's proheciy as well as all consequences of those outcomes. Each one also has a pre-determined champion, and one cant exist without the other.
