I am making my thesis about multimedia experiences in travelcommunications. I think that this guest room is quite too full of technology which makes people feel nervous. You should focus on harmony between electronics and living. Not just put new "toys" everywhere. Think how people feel. For example that computer in hotel room made me feel like being at home. If I come to hotel I want everything being neat and clean. Electronic devices should be installed on the walls, cables not be seen etc.

Sustainability is not about patches of green technology here and there. Certainly low flow shower heads, and low electricity hair dryers are excellent, however the lcd gizmos, electric candles, video peep holes are highly energy and resource intensive. The future is certainly comfort and convenience, but should not be mixed up with excessive interfaces, energy and resource dependence and isolation from contact with hotel service professionals.

I think the green ideas are brilliant. I do not however have faith in the computer. Guests can do any number of things (especially on a Dell) to cause freezing and depreciation. It will be a while before that idea is cost effective.
