i noticed that when a detroit has a smaller diameter exhaust that is straight thru, they are loud as fuck due to the forced air/smoke being shot through a smaller opening. There is a gold and white brigadier tractor that is on youtube with the same stacks. it just carries sound for miles!

Love it. Could not bring myself to jake at full RPM like that. You WILL drop a valve doing that. Got to start them no higher than 1600 to be safe.
