I was wondering if you could shed some light on this query of mine: do the arrows that you make knock? because on a close up on a different video it seemed like it didn't have something to knock onto the string.
@UrbanMoviemaker5 Horsebows draw smoother but have more hand vibration at release than a traditional longbow since the recurves 'snap' back for extra velocity
@UrbanMoviemaker5 I like reflex deflex the best-speed from the recurved tips and smooth drawing whilst softness or sweetness of release due to the deflex
@UrbanMoviemaker5 The horse bow or horn bow is usually a static recurve meaning that the bends in the recurve section act as a lever, they don't bend very much. A true recurve will have a bit of smooth movement happening. They both store a large amount of energy. Yes these bows shoot a little explosively but that doesn't help accuracy. Longbows will be more forgiving and accurate. I like both. : ) John, (bowyer).
awesome awesome! where can i find a horn bow (asian, hungarian, etc..) in real action?...ie: a real hunt and kill. just wondering if there are any vids out there. please relply if there are any out there. thanks!

Hey man, love your vids:)
I was wondering to buy a horsebow, and does a horsebow feel "sharper" if you know what i mean.
Like compared to a longbow.
Thanks:)
UrbanMoviemaker5 1 year ago
@UrbanMoviemaker5 It feels more aggressive, not sharper.

Do you think you're good at archery? I think you're better at pushing the mouse button.
Daddy supplies you with the money right???
gazsee128 3 years ago
Pusing a mouse button would be alot easier than shooting an apple of a ballon with an bow and arrow indeed.
And nah, I bought all the stuff myself.
DasDaan 3 years ago
OK well you passed my test, but you could come to Hungary to learn shooting. Na szevasz pajti!!!

@gazsee128 Dude chill, he's better then you.

@gazsee128 Haha, the way you're talking you are probably better at pushing the "mouse button"
