tony!!! i see you are doing well.kick ass review of a kick ass figure.i love the many pieces to him you can do so much with him.i hope to make him part of my collection very soon, \m/ \m/
Ah Metroplex. I fine figure indeed. The playability value alone for this figure was well deserving of the asking price point back in the good old days. My Metroplex actually snapped on the weak waist joint you mentioned earlier. Thankfully though, although the figure had been destroyed, it didn't stop me getting loads of enjoyment out of it. I just made Metroplex a two part base, with different sections in different places when I was playing with him. I am looking forward to completing mine. :)
@WolfKang1 Thanks for the comment Gerard. He is definately worth completing - and your Scorponok review has inspired me to start searching for him too - as my brothers and I had both Scorponok and Metroplex as children so the sentimental value of having them both is very appealing!
nice review, nothing like the old good G1 transformers! You should consider getting the reprolabel set for Metroplex (and Sixgun as well for that matter), it makes his city mode really shine.
The two leftover bits from Sixgun do actually store in his legs, but they need to go in the right leg compartment, just wanted to let you know
@mjcrow36 Metroplex (as well as Trypticon) was designed with them in mind. There was a way of attaching the 'leaderbots' (Silverbolt and Hotspot) as well but they dropped the concept. Ironically, Trypticon works in reverse. You can attach Motormaster and Onslaught to him but not the limb-bots. I guess I should really have mentioned that in the review : /
Great review as always bro! I had this guy when i was little. Now i have to go se if i can dig him out of the attic!!! Love these g1 reviews man. Keep up the good work.
That sucks that Metroplex is a sissy. Well, his fo (Trypticon) seem more like a dodo-head T-Rex.

@baredas What, both of them together? I can't even get one of the parts to go in either leg.

If you press in the head button, push down the head and release the button, it stays without basing it. Works good!

Is'nt that Owen Hart's theme at the end?
mjcrow36 6 months ago
@mjcrow36 'Tis indeed! He was one of my favourites and I think the theme suits Metroplex so I added it in :)

@JCFIFTY5 Thanks for you comment. I've often wondered if enough people really appreciate the G1 stuff but clearly people do, so I'll keep doing them!
