@somerandomkidmike err.. i don't think so, until i get my new camera (maybe in 1-2 months..). the mod for the center edges is the same thing, as the mod for the V-Cube 6 center edges.
I finished doing this mod today and had been playing around with the cube for a while and I must say my cube its so much better now, it doesn't lock up like crazy as before neither will the cube pop that often (but if you abuse from it, you'll get some serious pops) and now the outer layers turn a lot better, the only thing it seem kinda weird to me, is that the inner layers now have some sort of crispy feel, but maybe I haven't found the tension sweetspot or I must put in a little more lube in.
@TiLiMayor good, that it helped you. my inner layers are just the same as before, really smooth and all that stuff. maybe you got the dust from modding into the cube or something? if not.. try just to break it in, that should help. ;)
This seems like an interesting mod. It looks like the prime goals are to sand and round some pieces to make it somewhat faster. I'm just a widdle hesitant because SS 6x6s already have less plastic than a V6, and it's always better to have more plastic than less. But if I see a few others like this mod, I will consider doing it and making a video of it.
My SS6 sucks! It's already so tight, but still pops like crazy, even just from doing a 1 or 2 layer turn. The way it's tensioned, it's all weird feeling, like it's crooked or uneven like crazy. Some sides are super slow, and on one side, when you do a 3 layer turn, it also turns the outer layer of the opposite side automatically. It sucks.
