Is that true that most of the time, hypers or bombs are active?

To get the best scores you pretty much want to be in hyper mode as much as possible for the first half of a stage, and then not bomb or hyper at all for the second half.

I explained this in a little more detail in one of my other videos for this game.

I no longer have this game, unfortunately.  I did try to play through the game without ever using the laser, but it is very difficult.
