  • Tatars are mix of mainly three Turkic branches, Oguz, Kıpçak, Ogur. They speak Kıpçak/Kuman dialect. Thats clasical Rusification propaganda.

  • Actually from what Ive read Tatars are a racially scandanavian people SPEAKING an Altaic language. Just as Hazaras in Afghanistan are an Altaic language but speaking an Aryan language (Dari)

  • Tatars didn't mixed with Slavs. Search for Russification in wikipedia. Russians Slavized most of the Tatars so that's why some Russians look like Tatar.
