  • I was told I got lost as a 5yr old when I followed these Egungun all over our home town, I was lucky to be found by one of my older Aunts who took me back home. They said when asked what my mum's name was, I replied "Mummy"..lol

  • Thank you Ifaseeyen for posting this. This event obviously took place in Lagos but this is IJEBULAND thing. The masquerades are not Egungun but AGBO. They dance at our 'COMING OF AGE FESTIVAL' at Ijebuland. The young JIGBO follow them everywhere. The drumming is unique. The headrum is the KUGE. That is what I am improvising with in my channel. I am subbing you,please visit sometime, my friend!!!.
