Russia's prison system is notoriously overcrowded and violates basic human rights that even inmates are entitled to. We'll see if there are any lasting changes made in upcoming reports. Ok, but here there's just a few pictures of the video. I've seen the entire one on another site (Li....eak), and there's some important things you don't see here.
1-This events come after a riot in the jail, and many other prisoners were viciously beaten and wounded by those you see punched here.
2-When cops command them to remove clothes, you can see clearly that ALL of them have tattoos wich indicate that they are Vory v Zakonye, mobsters, not white and tender lambs.

No, this isn't punishment. When you indiscriminately round up a group of guys and beat them bloody, it's not punishment. Punishment is them being in prison, punishment is sending them to isolation for a week, punishment is refusing them visits for a time; beating them is torture, simple as that. It's illegal for them to do it, thus it's not simply punishment, it's torture.

This is nothing new. The US Sate Department issues annual human rights reports on all countries. Russia's prison system is notoriously overcrowded and violates basic human rights that even inmates are entitled to. We'll see if there are any lasting changes made in upcoming reports. How many criminals are outside of Russia's criminal system? Why are they not prosecuted? That has more to do with Russia's legal system, than subordination. It's all FuKakt.
