  • my sister was adopted from wolayta 3 years ago

  • coolest ethiopian dance.. period

  • It is my greatest wish that the proper representation of Wolaytigna come back into the mainstream instead of the bastardizations that are out there today. It is not similar enough to Central African rhythms like Makossa and soukous for it to be likened to it so much in music videos, and it breaks my heart. There will never be anything like the original. This is beautiful!

  • our dear adopted son is wolaita - thank you, I don`t want him to forget his people!

  • This is the real wolaytan song and dance by wolaytans. It's always great to see the owner of a culture display it and celebrate it in its original, an tampered form or modernize it as they see fit than outsiders who are bent on recreating in their own perceived image or outright destroying others culture foul it up.

  • Oh My Gosh, I am actually jumping around in Joy. God bless you for this video.

  • Please Please support these songs. The most uplifting happy songs are from south western Ethiopia.

  • this is so cool...the real Wolaytigna dance...so nice and cool...keep up the good work...wish to see more wolayta music...its so nice to see the culture and everything...Peace

  • Gobez! Batam Toru!!! What energy!

  • Great job my brothers and sisters! Please, do post more of your beautiful songs. Long live wolayta (Ethiopia) and its proud sons and daughters.
