No, absolutely NOT. It does not work on ANY camera that accepts SD cards! You are helping nobody by providing false and misleading information. Do your research! You of all people should know better!
next time you shot that sexy shot of the little lady remember not to have your EyeFi card in the camera, ya know what I mean, Dude. That could be a problem.opps dam, no you didn't, yeah..you did! SHI. ouch!
Hey Chris, wait a minute this EyeFi ware must be on right. So you like have to let this adware run on your system as in leaving your system open all the time to the bad guys. I see bad things with this one. Nice idea but Im waiten for the one that lets me load to my own PC or where ever at my own wishes... no open site stuff for me. Darn the corp strings seem to never let go. Thanks Chris
Yeah, older post I know. But heres the delio. Once again you buy my stuff and I'll tell you what you can and can't use it for. Man why not let you simply upload the darn pics to your own PC if you want. Why must it be sent to some pic farm? Just when I was liken the darn thang. Oh well this is America. Just another for of DRM if you ask me. Thnks Chris for the info anyway!
during the first few minutes of your video I was thinking "he's a dork but hes cool" but now I think your a serious dork and geek slash nerd. well I can't really tell if your dorky or not.
Um same story as always, but the linux hackers always get everything to work :)
hopefully other manufacturers will join the competition and officially support linux. I'll purchase from a manufacturer that does.
anyway this technology needs some tweaking. Chris who is a geek, didn't get it to work in the first try.
this is for geeks ATM, i don't see mom or pop setting a home wifi network on their own (i know i set one up). Also, this thing is not cheap compared to normal sd mems

The Geotagging doesn't work on it. It's awful.
And Canon cameras suck. Get a Nikon.
tkandme3 2 years ago
What Eye-Fi CARD do you have? Because you need the Eye-Fi "Explore' to have "Geotagging".

I would never use such a device because I like editing my photos.
Photoshop enthusiasts would never adopt such a technology.
Same with videos - Final Cut users would agree that it's just a hyped gimmick.
