@serrasalmus1000 it depends what kind of payara you get, these ones here (hydrolycus scomberoides)will could probably max out at 15-20" and the hydrolycus armatus species can get a few feet long lol. so your going to need a couple hundred gallons if you want to keep a few.

there doing fine, i have an ac500 and cascade 150 and a pond powerhead for current. I havn't found that there very hard to keep
