  • i dont get it

  • Yea i understand you clearly. And this Chopin Nocturne as a music theme - Gosh, what a kitsch! Why, oh why does one try to convince me that Crime and Punishment is some kind of sob story made by Merchant and Ivory[although I really adore Howards End and The room with a view] It should be punished cause it is real crime!

  • Well, if you haven't already you should read the book. It is simply sublime.

  • @Slippinginar My favorite book!

  • @ifeeltall93

me too my fav ! really this book is full of emotions and psychology, i like it

  • What song is playing in the background?

  • It is Chopin's Nocturne in G Minor

  • Yeaah...I finally figured that out. Thanks!

  • Sorry, I didn't read the 2 months ago thing.... Just excited becuase I had just managed to get hold of a copy of the music. Been playing it all day!

  • I found a copy of the music too! I've been trying to practice it but it would have helped if I had taken piano lessons.

  • If you can play Chopin without having taken lessons, my hat is off to you, Sir.

I can barely play Chopin with lessons.

  • Oh no, I can't.

  • You should watch the Miniseries as well, starring John Hurt as Rodya (Raskolnikov)

  • there is a Russian adaptation of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, directed by Lev Kulidzhanov (1969).. And it's on dvd (3 discs). I've seen it and it's just great!

  • Is this really going to be a film?!

When/where will it be released? On DVD? In the US? I must know!
