i think that the classic character of Michael Myers is the best and most realistic, out of Freddy, Jason and Michael. i dislike the idea that Freddy can only kill you if you fall asleep or are in some sort of trance.I like Jason as well though, especially in the new film as he is mortal.

Someone needs to inform Rob that we all don't want to see his slut wife pole dancing in every scene, and we'd like to see some real justice done to one of the creepiest killers of all time. Yes, I'll elaborate. The movie is an EPIC fail. First of all, Rob changes the storyline so much it's hardly recognizable. No one gives a shit if Laurie lives or dies, and we're all hoping her best friend Annie(whom should be dead) will prevail. There is no heroine in the film. And since Rob changed Loomis's character so much, there's no hero. Loomis went from being obsessed with killing Myers to obsessed with selling books? And the white horse? Eating dogs? Frigging lame, Zombie. FAIL.

Zombie's "Myers" is a total joke. Someone needs to inform Rob that we all don't want to see his slut wife pole dancing in every scene, and we'd like to see some real justice done to one of the creepiest killers of all time. His versions are an embarassment. He completely changes Dr Loomis, and worse, turns Michael into some stupid giant living in some fairy land fueled by his 'hot' mom.

After seeing the 1978 original, can you go out in the dark without feeling like Michael is stalking you ... heart racing, you look around, walk faster? After seeing the 2007 remake were you really that afraid of Michael Myers, or feel safe ... like you didn't pick on him so he has no problem with you -- he's not coming after you? 1978 Halloween I, 1981 Halloween II, 1982 Halloween III, and 1998 H20 -- those are the only Halloween movies I've seen. Anything after Halloween II seemed too over-the-top that I didn't even bother, and I regret seeing Halloween III, which was a total disgrace -- with no relation to the Myers storyline whatsoever!
The saga began in 1978 and continued in 1981, after which time it should have been left alone until the 20th anniversary H20 release ... and that is where it should have ended.

Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of 1978 Halloween wasn't a total disaster, but had one major flaw. Never knowing "why" is made 1978 Michael so terrifying! The remake humanized him, let us inside his head and home life, portrayed him as victim. Viewers were sympathetic versus terrified.
2009 H2 Remake: I gave it a chance, or tried to. In 30 minutes I shut it off ... letting it play that long was generous! The remake was so far removed from 1981 H2 ... so outlandishly far fetched it was laughable.
