@xxfitzyxx20 If you have the 15x damage for dagger sneak attacks, just get a couple good daggers and use the dual wield power attack while sneaking. My 17 damage orcish daggers kill giants in one of those attacks.

If you waste time looking for Giants toe, upping alchemy will take forever. There's a whole host of potions that are worth 400 - 800. Blue flower, blue butterfly wing, salt pile, deathbells, and a heck of a lot of other stuff. It's best to get 100 enchanting first if you plan to go that route anyway. Then use enchanted garb to produce potions. Also invest perks in alchemy as soon as possible to up value/xp.

Leveling Alchemy is based on the value of the potions. Expensive recipes are ones of Invis, Paralyze or Slow. Take an in-game night to find Luna Moths around Whiterun and then raid a Chaurus den. The one in the north under the Lighthouse easily has, I believe, over 200 eggs.

get jarrin root in dark brotherhood questline you only get one so the effects are damage health/magicka and stamina/stamina regen over 1000 damage poison

Wheat + Giants Toe (giant's toe = very powerful)

Nirnroot + Crimson Nirnroot ( all 4 effects in common)

Just 4 of the Potions I craft to get my alchemy level up, I have more combos if people are interested ^^ (Also you can sell these for ridiculous amounts of money)

@ThatOneSkinnyGuy No you can use any ingredient at any level you just have to find another ingredient with at least one effect in common with said ingredient, in your case the giants toe, hope that helped.

Faster (if not fastest) way is to have an item that fortifies alchemy. Put it on and creat a "fortify restoration" potion. Drink it. Unequip and reequip the fortify alchemy item and repeat. Before you know it your alchemy will be enhanced by upwards of 1000000 and you will level up per one potion, no matter what kind or how cheap.

another way to lv alchemy & gain money on the side (if you have a high enough speechcraft to get the best coin for your barter)is to talk to the alchemist in whiterun or the little girl from the dark brotherhood. buy all the ingredients, make all kinds of potions, then sell potions back. eventually with time you will begin to realize that the shop keeps running out of gold. so then you ask from training from the person who sells the ingredients. that will put gold back into the store. then sell

Giant's Toe + Wheat + Creep Cluster or River Betty adds fortify carry weight to the potion, and is the most valuable potion you can make, therefore, it's the quickest way to level alchemy

and blue mountain flower&wheat gives the same effect.

Better try Canis root&Imp stool (Paralize) - gives me lvlup alchemy from 23 to 28 lvl at once

And then make a potion to strengthen restoration. Drink it! Take off your clothes and dress back, and make another potion to strengthen restoration. Do this again, and again... Maybe you are smarter than those potions? :) Maybe you could make a potion +400% damage? Try check it out! Have a nice day, Mr Bond! :D

Just be an Orc lvl 30 Have full daedric set and 2hand talent tree. Then use Daedric 2h mace and use berserker rage then u can kill 2-3 giants without you are going to die:)

If you wanna level up alchemy just use giant toes, blue mountain flower and blue butterfly wing, that has a very high value (Wich means very high xp) and is generaly easy to get apart from giant toes for low levels.

There's a bit stronger potion that you can make, but it takes three ingredients, Giant's Toe, Bear Claws and Hanging Moss. A bit harded to come by, but it gives noticeably more exp.
