  • he is not only a great guitar builder. he is also a great player and has a very musical taste. god bless him!

  • i see a pic of neal schon play this guitar , i think was for play "lights" .

  • its $2,000

  • Went to my guitar store yesterday to buy a custom shop stratocaster. Looked at a few, plugged them in. Nice guitars, all of them, really nice.

Plugged in a DC3 & within seconds knew i was going to buy it.

Class tone in every position. Vintage & modern sounds. Breathtakingly beautiful guitar, same finish as this one but with rosewood fingerboard. Like the guy says, "...you gotta plug one in."

And before yesterday i had never even picked up a Prs. Thanks, PRS.

  • I want to buy one of these. Which colour is this guitar? it looks really nice.

  • This is my holy grail.

  • I wish necks were more tinted. I compared with EJ Strat, and bought EJ Strat...

  • @ichibandude you bought the ej instead because it had a more tinted neck?

  • thats going to sound good with over drive?

  • What amazes me about PRS verses other high end guitar companies is when you pick up or buy a PRS new at any store it already plays great unless an idiot has messed with it since leaving the factory. This is simply not so with Gibson, Fender or really any other that are produced widely. I love PRS and say that for an all around go to guitar there is NOTHING better.

  • Nice guitar!!!

  • ya i thinking of getting one now cheers

  • THE PICKUPS GOT HUM?

  • Paul could sell sand at the beach. I love watching him talk about guitars and you can tell he really loves his craft. I love my Custom 24 and yes they are expensive so save your money. I am by no means rich but I saved and got one because you get what you pay for and I wanted a great guitar!

  • these guitar look and sound all the same over price junk i think ! look a lot like a fender to me?

  • @paulcourson Just because it looks like a Fender doesn't make it one. The neck makes a world of difference. For me the PRS wide-thin neck is perfect for my hands. I can play Fender Strats just fine, but knowing that I can get Fender like tones with the comfort of a PRS wide-thin neck is awesome. As for them all sounding the same? 1.) they don't, every guitar has their nuances, 2.) They go for vintage tones because those are just proven to sound good year after year after year. So don't hate :)

  • @RKRClassic THATS SO RIGHT

  • Great sounding guitar....not quite a strat copy. More like a 1st cousin.

  • PRS has no originality. He based his Singlecut from the Les Paul and now this DC3 from the Strat. Yet he claims his guitars to be the best.

  • @hazegar08 thats just ignorant. he didn't claim to reinvent the wheel with the dc3 or the single cut. he made the wheel better, or even just different. the 50's are over, there will be no more classics. what paul and his company do is make modern-classics. spend some time with one of their guitars or amps and you will immediately understand. when you buy a PRS you are paying for the finest craftsmanship, and built-in quality control. the idea of not having a problem, or needing a set-up.

  • @hazegar08 they are the best, you just can't afford them.

  • @hazegar08 they are the best, you just can't afford them.

  • @crazybri311 in fact I have a 2005 Custom 22. It was a gift so I feel bad about selling it. Its no match compared to my Les Paul. Its not worth the price. PRS is just all hype. They even made a Mark Tremonti a signature model. Why make a signature model for someone who doesn't even know how to play a guitar solo. Dumb move PRS.

  • @hazegar08 Mark Tremonti can't play a guitar solo? What are you? Deaf AND stupid?

  • @hazegar08 He claims them to be the best not the most original. Regardless of if you like PRS guitars or not, you can't argue with their build quality.

  • @SJP444 pay for quality, receive quality

  • @PaulmTreez Exactly...

  • @hazegar08

Too bad my Singlecut stomped my old LP Standard.. Sold the LP asap.

  • cute schoolgirl giggle ! and great demo !! I'm waiting for the NF3 demo to A/B with the DC3

  • Keizerens nye klær.

  • You know it's a great guitar when he's giggling like a school girl.

Does anybody know if the same pickups are in the NF3?

  • @kevdog330 these are not the same as the NF3. The NF3 has 57/08 narrowfields and the DC3 has the same pickups as the 513 or 305.

  • @cooljomark Can you tell me any more comparisons / contrasts between the NF3 and the DC3 ? thanx

  • @thiekrelmik THE PICKUS ARE DIFFERENT AND THE WOOD IS DIFFERENT IN THE NF3 I THINK THE NF3 IS AMAZING GUITAR TOO

  • thats a VERY warm sounding single coil.....

  • The man's enthusiasm for his work is contagious. And the guitar sounds great on this demo.

  • mr smith. I am sorry for being so random but. When will you start a 7 string PRS guitar line up? If you do so, I will never play anything else but PRS guitars.

  • im surprised you guys aren't filming in HD....anyways, awesome vid and demo paul!

  • I have 9 guitars PRS..americans model traditional

PRS is the Best Guitar of World

    But... strato is Fender!!!

  • I'm sure it sounds great but, just buy a strat!

  • @prsfan01 when and if they ever build a strat with the quality materials that PRS uses and I might do that. You also have the simple fact that many of todays Strats are out of Mexico (theses are the higher quality ones), China, and several other Asian countries. Nope will stick with PRS and quality where even his production line guitars are built better than the majority of Top Quality Fenders among others. Buy American and get quality plain and simple, you dont have to pay extra for a pro setup

  • @NiteStar131 To risk an argument....If build quality is your detractor, buy a hand built custom shop or higher line made in USA guitar. I assume that the price that this guitar will be sold at will be $1700.00 - $2500.00, you could possilbly buy a gently used custom shop guitar even. I just don't see the greatness in buying a guitar to sound like a Strat when you could just buy a Strat. I own a CE-22 and a SA special, I love PRS and I'm not against them in anyway.

  • I envy the very fiber of this mans being.

  • i can hear the camera guy breathing lol

  • What a beautiful guitar! Maryland pride!

  • hahah the laugh at the end was awesome!

  • Paul is F-ing amazing. I met him here locally and he saw the "PRS" that i built and he thought it was awesome. i got a picture with him :)

  • It's rare to see such passion and dedication to an art, you sir Paul, are an inspiration!

  • Just too awesome! I want one, now! 8-)

  • you sir, are fucking awesome

  • very nice Paul, very nice indeed.

  • Very nice sound, very nice amp too

  • It's a Strat... but it's a PRS :O I came twice.

  • I have owned over 30 guitars. 3 being PRS. They stay in tune and perform more consistently than any other guitar I have ever played. And I beat the sh*t out of gear. These things are work horses for sure. Way less setup and maintenance compared to my fenders n gibbons. BUT PRS sound so modern and seem to fit that style best. Look at the old dudes. Still playing les pauls. Starts and telesll

  • I don't care what anybody says! PRS are the best guitars ever made!!!

  • I WANT THAT AMP

  • The Custom 22/24 are the real PRS, original, innovative, and distinctive. With the single cut he's done Gibson, I guess it's just time to do Fender now ...

I like what PS has done, he's made Gibson and Fender sharpen up their act .. such a shame the vast majority of PRS guitars are so fearsomely expensive... the majority of which can only be afforded by Bankers !

  • This guy is a genius! I wish I had the money to get a PRS. You can get every single tone out of it and it sounds great no matter what genre of music you play.

  • nice!
