GTR is one of fastest cars in real life, while bugatti is just fast in very very long straight line. If you don't believe me, check Nurburgring lap times, there are no bugatti time, because they are afraid to show what it can in real life and it is not so hevay, only ~ 200kg or ~450lbs heavier and almost twice more powerfull

for all you know it alls out there these cars reach those speeds at those numbers with professional drivers and do so after many trys trying to do it as fast as possible. and seein as how veyron owners are on a waiting list the gtr owner probably had more practice with his car. NOT TO MENTION the gtr is so much lighter then the veyron so the accel is going to be faster unless your the guy that set the accel record for the veyron....just sayin

For one, the guy in the Veyon obviously did not know how to drive, and two how the hell dose a V-12 engine get beaten by a V-6 when the V-6 only has two turbos and a factory Intake system. The Nissan GT-R can only achieve a speed of 193 Mph with 478 hp. Where as the Bugatti Veyron can achieve a speed of 253 mph with 1001 hp. So obviously the driver of the Veyron let the GT-R win.

@Vastanden GTR's can be modded up to 1007 hp, and even if this GTR isn't modded that much it still can keep up with or even outrun the veyron until the veyron surpasses the GTR's maximum speed. In this video it doesn't appear that the veyron even comes close to it's maximum speed so you are right in a sense, but the GTR being V-6 doesn't automatically mean it's slower than engines with more cylinders. GTR's are faster than any v12 lamborghini, and fully modded GTR's could outrun standard veyrons

They had two gtr's and they used a video alteration to make the trees look as if they wer passing by at high speeds. Truth is for the time being the Bugatti Veyron is the fastest car in the world and even though the gtr is an awesome car it cannot(even with nitrous) surpass the high speeds of 257 mph and a 0-60 time 2.3 seconds.

@iR3FleXi - Yes you're right about the 0-60 stats and during that 0-60 period which as you mentioned is about 2.5 - 2.9 s of the video footage, what happens after 60mph is nothing to do with the 0 - 60 stats , you have to look at 60 - 100 and 100 -160 etc, anyhow the veyron costs 20 times more than a GTR, what ever the result my moneys on the GTR :)
