Abuse on either side is not good. My guy never hits me but I have pissed him off enough to hit the wall & put a hole through it. I have seen a few women yell at their guys until they crack & hit/throw something or storm out. I think both sides need to calm it down, don't get into a yelling/hitting match. some people are abusers. But anyone can snap every once in a while. I'm female & I have snapped before and slapped him. I am not proud of it and I cried afterwards but it happened once.

That was a very well done video. If you really don't mind respectful criticism, I'm not sure that the use of fire arms should be presented as a first line of defense. It's just personal opinion though. I think it was well thought out and the hard work put into the video is evident. Nice work.

My school does something about raising awareness about this type of stuff too. They put up 500 or so blue flags on the grounds and each flag represents a person who was in an abusing relationship - both male and female and any kind - and in the halls there are some posters that give names of people and how they died from the abuse. There are even kids who have trivia stuff around their necks on those days. We also do a day of silence for gays and their supporters. We also have a club for this.

@reidict001 Bravo Zulu, if he does it again go by my rule of thumb, second warning means castration, with a dull razor, and the wound cauterized, stick something like a spare kitchen knife on the stove and put that directly to the open wound, it will stop him from dying, and prevent them from reattaching anything.

I am a survivor of domestic abuse. I was beaten for 4 1/2 years. He violated the injunction twice and to they gave him 1 years probation. This is all he gets for beating me black and blue with our son in my arms. Thank you for making people aware that this is a real problem and just not something behind closed doors
