thanks for the info man. i agree, the mavica takes beautiful shots and with a little post to warm things up, could take a picture good enough for my kind of magazine to read on the Johnny C, lol.
It's a little steep, the learning curve, to try and make 24fps, 25, 29.9999999.7 and 60fps, 60i and whatever else is the 'norm' and try to make a smooth demonstration that can playback on a TV. You're lucky. You have interesting footage to shoot ! ;)
Hi, this is a little off subject but I noticed you write in the list description as this footage being taken with the sony mavica cd 500...i have the same unit although my outside footage is very pixelated, even though it gets nice, rich colors.
Do you remember if you did anything special to the settings? this is video mpeg, yes? wow...looks dynamite! I wish I could achieve the same results with mine. well done!
@morymb the camera from the beginning to about 1:50 is actually an ipod nano. everything after that is my mavica. you can tell the difference by the framerates. ipod nano shoots at 30fps, mavica shoots at 25fps. so if you want to know what my mavica footage is like, watch the video after 1:50

@morymb i personally think the mavica is best suited for still images. it gets killer macro shots in the right conditions
