I have a griffon & shih tzu mix... she's adorable and has a big personality.... she is so smart and doesn't dare take food unless she gets the green light. She just stares and waits just like ur dog :P

Bruss is the sweetest dog I have ever owned...he does have a habit...you cant leave the table for a second...he will sneak up there and take it. Coffee too...bad habit.

I also have a brussels and she will steal food at any chance she gets! This is not mean, the dog is learning that he can't take food from the table what's so mean about that? It's not like she put food in his dish or on the floor and yelled at him for trying to eat it. Whoever thinks this is mean probably let's their dog do whatever it wants then.

The "Brussel eyes" get me everytime too! My Simon does the same thing and I love how cute they look sitting in chairs. Simon has his own chair during holiday dinners so he can be part of the group. However, it's pushed back from the table a bit so he doesn't get tempted to jump up and eat off the table like the rest of us :)

I have had my griffon for one week. I got him when he was 3 months old. In just seven days, he has learned to sit, lay down, and walk without pulling the leash. Wonderful dogs!! No regrets (yet) in chosing to get a griffon.

I sent you a message, my daughter found this video. Kringle is the family dog but sleeps with her every night. Kringle looks exactly like your dog. We also got him at a pet store, brought the kids to the mall one day to get one of those pretzels and came home with him four years ago. Brussel's.... you see here I got from a pet store..( Hate to admit it ) But he's turning out great...no more health problems..other than he's hypoglycemic..a little syrup and he's all better. LoLa has been the picture of health..she even gave birth to 2 puppies without a problem..not an easy thing for such a tiny dog.

@puggykisses They are the most wonderful dogs! My 8 month-old Wallace is by far the most friendly and sweet dog I have ever met. They're great with other dogs and people, and they REALLY get attached to one person in particular. Potty training tends to be tough with Brussels, but just be diligent. they are very sensitive to emotions, so don't yell at them, and if you are sweet to them they will give you undying loyalty.
