@ekniranjanprabhas i dont intend to start a language war here., but telugu is an indo-aryan language - it has words predominantly from sanskrit and an undeniable influence of tamil.

I am a telugu, garvam lekunda, kopam lekunda fact-based aalochana unte andariki machidi. and tamil is an older language. they have epics written 3000+ years ago(manimekalai, silappadigaaram).

Telugu reached its prime some 2000-1700 years ago. Kireetam kinda padaledhu, so lets not change facts based on pride.
