Yeah, I picked up the Supernatural book and I had a lot of problems with it. I haven't read much Brian Wood (aside from Local), and while he writes Sam well...without both brothers, it loses its spark. And Sam is 6 foot 4 inches/193 cm tall. His lady friend in the book is TALLER than him. They made out and I thought "that ain't right..."

The inevitable problem with a great book like JH Williams on Batwomen is that it would be next to impossible to accept it as someone other than JH Williams on it. I used to love Thor when JMS was writing it and now its not as good since he left it. Brubaker has been writing Cap since 2005 and its been consistently good. Can you imagine if that was the norm in comics. JH Williams on Batwomen for 7 years, JMS on Thor for 7 years. I just don't like to see great creative teams leave books.

@micronoid ya i hear ya, but i think the way to deal with that is go way off field. like when someone else draws batwoman get philip bond or bill sienkiewicz to do it, dont try to replicate what has gone before. right?

@eris1aughs yeah i agree when artists change on books, but it can kill a book when the writer changes. Speaking of artists, the wolverine run school is in Wolverine and the X-Men #1, the artist is chris bachalo. don't think hes good at all, its the kind of art that puts me off getting a book.

Hi, I'm new to your videos. I love comics but I gave up on them a very long time ago for several reasons. Just recently I found myself thinking about maybe picking up a couple of titles. The Hulk title seems interesting, I'll look for that.

so again Heroes for Hire is being sold on shallow fan service? The last Heroes for Hire actually had a pseudo Hentai Tentacle cover shortly before it got cancelled. Funny how Powerman and IronFist didn't get that treatment when they went under the HfH heading.

With Hulk I find the following formula helpful

Pak = Good

Loeb = Stupid
