This was a good strategy, but I never bother to train Marth. By the time I'm in the last chapter he is level 15. I just find him useless around the middle of the game when you recruit much better charcters. If he gets speed screwed, he will get raped by the manaketes because they're very fast on H5

Marth actually isn't that useless. He does have that edge against Mamkutes, and on average, he gets 22 speed. One level of blessage will put him at 23, which prevents him from being doubled by fires. Also, the Falchion does 40+ DMG to Mamkutes, which only Chiki can best.

But Marth lacks promotion gains and has 10 less level ups than the others. He is only useful in the first few chapter to kill cavaliers with rapier, and shiida with wing spear is better. Chiki is superior for killing Mankutes with one shot. You have to admit that Marth is outclassed by almost every character in this game.

I have to disagree with this simply because this is one of the FE games with a high number of units that suck.

That is very true. Marf doesn't have promo gains, so he's not very good after a while. But he is still useful for the ability to severely injure C24 Mamkutes, though usually, I'd just have Doga lure them in with a dragonpike since he only gets 6RKO'd by them(he gets doubled, but he's 12HKO'd), then have somebody like Sheeda kill it off.

I never had a problem with Marth, he maxed out everything except resistance, magic and Defence which was 2 away from being maxed out, maybe it was pure luck, but he turned out great during my playthrough.

This strategy is intense! I was totally clueless on how you'd do it when only 1 person can attack Medeus at 1 range each turn, but you cleverly pulled it off. Nicely done.

I beat this (on easy) by sending marth and chiki to kill medulus. Chiki killed the guard and marth got a critical and killed medulus

Yeah. This is one of those chapters which you will want to warp skip in H5, due to all the forged braves. In H2, I had little problem with the enemies(only the Mamkutes and upper end Str generals could damage Doga, while he was 2-3HKOing them back with a silver lance).

Medeus was a real bitch though. With 29 AS, he was doubling Marth and anyone else not named Nabarl or Oguma, and 49 Atk meant if you got doubled and you were not Doga, you were ORKO'd(Rena was getting one-shotted regardless due to only 34 HP/5 Def; it sucks to be a sage).

Not exactly. The save file I obtained was from a user on Gamefaqs who played using an emulator. Saves submitted on the GFAQs "Saves" sections are usually done by gameshark or action replay, I don't know how to work with those for DS.

In chapter 24, have Tiki hold the real Falchion and kill her, get the Aum staff and use it to revive Tiki in chapter 24x.

Yeah warp staff is cheap in this game. Some1 managed to speed run the game in 15 minutes (and some seconds). Strategies like these aren't hard to figure out so it makes sense for people to use it before watching this.

Yeah. Actually, she makes a decent Linde (Linda) replacement if you level her up as a hybrid Mage/Cleric. She'll end up with better Mag stat and more Tome weapon rank so she could use Aura. IMO, Lena >>> Linde for Aura in H5...

Give Nagi the Falchion after you get the 12MT Falchion then what you do is let her die in Chapter 24 to access 24x. In 24x, you should find the falchion(12mt) in the supply/convoy and revive nagi with aum staff. then you will receive the 7mt falchion.

2 Falchions, they're the same except the weaker 1 has 5 less MT on it... you get it from the Real Garnef. I forgot how you get the weaker one... I think it happens if you hit Chapter 24x. You can get both (through a "trick") and they're unbreakable
