  • The thing is, if two players can do this consistently it'd make for a fairly boring match... If you can do this, why would you do anything else when you're in shield? Other than spotdodge from a grab. If this does get in, then the window will have to be much smaller....

    But yeah, I don't really like this idea much. It takes away any point or advantage that characters with natural counters for one of their specials[IE: Lucario, Marth, Ike] have when you give that counter option to practically everyone.

  • I dunno about this, having this implemented might overcentralize defensive options. It's kinda like having up b out of shield for every character except that you don't have to wait for shield stun to be over it seems.

  • because there would be a window of failure that would certainly get you punished? possibly lose a stock and maybe the match?

    and considering how sporadic moves can be, relying on this mechanic when the counter itself is weak and designed to not kill, it would be an idiotic idea to rely on this too much.

  • looks cool :D but hard to get right, you have like 0.1 seconds to press B it seems :x

  • Would be easier to do with infinite shield. the concept is really cool. what's glitchy about the dizzy.

  • Even if you're right on, your character becomes dizzy, I'm trying to find out how to lower the shield, when I find out I might make it so your shield will lower if you fail.

  • it's being individualized, some characters do jabs. others do smashes, others do tilts, some might grab.
