Definatly wiccan and proud of it! I found my way, and I take a lot of shit for it, but it's made me a better person. Being strong for my boyfriend, who's mother practically disowned him when she found out his faith. Making a new start though, as other's who follow similar paths come to us. Blessed be to all :) )O(

wiccans are pagans, though i see what you mean. Though neo- pagans are the ones who combine the old european-ish religion that has been around since well cave people and all that (which goes by the name wicca now) with other more popular religions such as jewish and christian beliefs. Though theres no solid rules to wicca thats why i love it, but the more 'traditional' or not combined wicca is pagan. This song is wrongfully titled cuz its not for all pagans just wiccan pagans... though not neo

That's very similar to my story actually. I discovered wicca just a bit before I turned 13, (I was actually told about it by a friend), and it really did good for me. It made me look at life and nature differently than before. It also made me a better person.

There are some problems with the vocabulary and what not with this song, and I don't belief in rejecting Christianity (or Christians) but this song still gives me a sense of pride and joy when I hear it. Especially when those around me are listening to Gospel, it's when I feel that I SHINE. :-) It's just a song of great fun and spirit!

christians can be so adorable sometimes, we have a lot of fun with them ^^ But we dont have any of those fire and brimstone christians here, thank god for that. Mostly they are scared of us, though we havent done anything to earn that. But it can be a blessing. At least they mostly keep away and let us live in peace^^

You should have seen the fear in their eyes when they saw what really happened. It was too funny. One was making the cross sign the whole time, and they where really eager to get out as fast as posssible. Like we would harm them, tststs. At least we dont get their stupid pamphlets any longer ^^

@jimbob202019 Paganism is an umbrella term that encompasses all religions and paths that do not follow a christian path. Most following pantheons from older religions from different parts of the world, depending on one's personal views and connections with how they see deity.

I'm seriously considering converting to wicca. I just can't relate to the christian God at all. I feel that christianity views me as a second class citizen. It's so male dominated that I feel shut out, not to mention the fact that in the old testement God was continuisly ordering genocides whereas the Goddess is peaceful and loving and teaches tolerance and love for the earth.
My mother will think it's a phase. I don't think it is.

I am pagan, and I am proud. This is a statement that hold true to. Even if people harrass me about me being gay or wiccan, I know that the good earth will ensure me a space of sacressness in the afterlife. Perhaps in the recarnation of a tree, or a butterfly. I love this. My Goddess is amazing. I had a conflict with a lunch my family was going to do. (My spirit animal is a fawn and my uncle might have deer head's at his house.) They just announced it was going to happen here.

I am pagan, and I am proud. This is a statement that hold true to. Even if people harrass me about me being gay or wiccan, I know that the good earth will ensure me a space of sacressness in the afterlife. Perhaps in the recarnation of a tree, or a butterfly. Oh how I fathom of meeting other Wiccans and Pagans. Please, someone let me know that there are other people out there I can talk to.

I love this. My Goddess is amazing. I had a conflict with a lunch my family was going to do. (My spirit animal is a fawn and my uncle might have deer head's at his house.) They just announced it was going to happen here.

And if they ever get too personally against your sacred calling (Wicca) or become too hostile, feel free to mention Christian facts (like how Yahweh supported slavery, which stunted the progress of humanity as African Americans had to endure the rough road of "serving their masters in the name of the LORD their god." etc.
How the origins of Christianity is pagan and even Yahweh is an old, etc. lol Best wishes! xx

@ellimist6 I will never understand why they dont understand that you cabnt force somebody to believe into something. A spiritual decision must come from within, or it isnt worth anything. There are so many "christians" who are just frauds. They go to church to have good relations with the neighbours, or even for buisness reasons. How stupid is that ? Spirituality is an important part of us, you mustnt deny that and give your soul what it needs
