looshaaa The temp has not incresed since 1998 and the slight temp of 1 degree in 150 years (most of it before 1940) is well within the normal, as we were coming out of an ice age. The temp has dropped for the last 3 years (unless you use GISS aka Hansen numbers that he tweeks with but will not tell how he does) So why does co2 lag temp by an average of 800 years both up and down if it is a driver , it acts like an effect in all ice core records

Not with Greenland. Greenlands surface is compressed far below sea level by the weight of the ice, except around the perimeter shore line. The ice cap, generally more than 2 km thick and over 3 km at its thickest point, sits in a bowl. Sort of like a ball in a cereal bowl with the top of the ball peaking up above the bowl. It isn't going to slide off of Greenland. Just as frozen water won't slide out of a bowl.
The Greenland glaciers, are "overflow" from the bowl that the ice cap sits in. You could have all the melt water you want below the main ice cap of Greenland and it isn't going to slide anywhere. Your milk and cereal doesn't slide out of your cereal bowl.

Icebergs and glaciers have always calved as they grow; the polar bears are not endangered. There is volcanic activity in Antarctica and Greenland that is causing melting. CO2 is not a pollutant. Why have people forgotten their basic grade school science?

Well, you've got an emotional song, with emotional images. How about some hard core data to back it up? All the "Global Warming" predictions are based on computer models of an extremely complicated system which we know little about with any certainty. Science history tells us that any group (greenies, govt beaurocrats, science institutions) with any vested interests should be viewed with suspicion (I can hear the greenhouse cash cow mooing from here). Reducing population remains the key to all.

looshaaa The temp has not incresed since 1998 and the slight temp of 1 degree in 150 years (most of it before 1940) is well within the normal, as we were coming out of an ice age. The temp has dropped for the last 3 years (unless you use GISS aka Hansen numbers that he tweeks with but will not tell how he does) So why does co2 lag temp by an average of 800 years both up and down if it is a driver , it acts like an effect in all ice core records

Not with Greenland. Greenlands surface is compressed far below sea level by the weight of the ice, except around the perimeter shore line. The ice cap, generally more than 2 km thick and over 3 km at its thickest point, sits in a bowl. Sort of like a ball in a cereal bowl with the top of the ball peaking up above the bowl. It isn't going to slide off of Greenland. Just as frozen water won't slide out of a bowl.

The Greenland glaciers, are "overflow" from the bowl that the ice cap sits in. You could have all the melt water you want below the main ice cap of Greenland and it isn't going to slide anywhere. Your milk and cereal doesn't slide out of your cereal bowl.

Icebergs and glaciers have always calved as they grow; the polar bears are not endangered. There is volcanic activity in Antarctica and Greenland that is causing melting. CO2 is not a pollutant. Why have people forgotten their basic grade school science?

Global Warning became the fact. Thanks to USA, China, Russia government. U cant see it ? Earth quakes in China, Storms like Gustav or Katrina, Tsunami on Pacyfic. Few weeks ago there was a whirlwind in Poland IN EUROPE. It should'nt be such anomaly like this. Especialy in Europe where climate is quite normal. STOP Global warning now!
