This is true. Was on the news here. The car undertook the lorry and tried to change lanes in front of the truck. Because of the position of the car, the truck driver could not see the car when the car spun itself.

Very real. If I remember correctly the trucker fell asleep at the wheel, felt the bump but literally was too high to see the trapped car. The tires didn't burst because of the wet roads and it probably wasn't that long before he realised what was causing the drag on his truck.

@XundeadXemoX No one died, and if memory serves me correctly, the female driver in the car was found to be at fault. She misjudged her car's length when attempting to "merge" (more like cut off) in front of the semi, and the semi driver was unable to see the car from where he was sitting.
