Protip for warlocks: Cast Seed of Corruption on all 4 dummies and then Shadowfury/Rain of Fire them to proc. I got around 2.3k dps on my (lvl 70) warlock doing that. The level 78 warlock I was with got 4k.
Where did you get all those extra spell spaces on the left hand(or the right hand i don't care) of the screen and above the main bar? Is it an add-on.
Well having a "destro" spec really is not the Bees knees for DPS anymore. Most warlocks realized this with change over to WOTLK and now use Affliction for high end DPS while raiding
Dang warlocks go through some mana. Is a warlocks way to keep mana for a 5 min fight just to lifetap and have the healers use thier mana on the lock? That would b alot of lifetaping.
actually yes,we (locks) ussualy just tap ourselfs..occasionaly i use some mana pots..but know we tap even more since with t7/7,5 sets we have set bonus when after each life tap we gain 300spirit for 10 secs,which gives us about 120 spell power
life tap isnt overpowered at all considering our mana usage, we use a shit load of gcd on getting mana. The only good thing about it is that we can generate mana at any time in a burst.
im a lock in deep destro wich is alotta fun in pvp. i also pve as desto too but i think ur right im hearing that haunt/ruin is the overall best spec for raiding. i dont really understand "amplify cure : reduces the global cooldown" can u please explain what exactly a GCD is and what it does?
A global cooldown is a 1.5 second cooldown on all spells after using an ability. Otherwise it would be possible to spam instant abilities. The global cooldown is affected by haste though and by talents such as amplify curse, which only applies to curses. The talent isn't realy good, I use it in my affliction build because there is simply nothing better to spent the talent point on. Yes, haunt/ruin is the best raid spec at the moment.
Global cooldown is the delay from casting instant cast spells in which you can't cast anything else. Normally this is 1 second. Amplify curse reduces this delay on curses (and only curses) by 0.5 seconds.

yeah but thats not testing ur singal target dps all it does is test ur trash dps whic doesnt mater as trash is easy to clear
