  • At 3:05 Japanese capasitors? Where? Capasitors are manufactured by Taiwanese Teapo Electronic Corp.

  • HI 3dgameman. what in your opinion are the quietest products you've come across? I'm looking for suggestions for quiet case-fans, cpu-cooler and psu. This nexus one is a bit above my budget but my it's goign on my list. I turned the volume up high almost couldnt hear nothing

  • im goin with phenom 2 x4 955, hd4870, 5 fans, asus mobo ''Evo'' something.. 2 corsair 4gb ram, dvd drive.... do i need more than 650w :P?

  • Comment removed

  • @qwertygustaf no, a brand 500w power supply si enough

  • @ECXVegetto aight thx

  • 5 fans =)) . For what? With that money you can buy a better gpu.

  • do they still make not modular PSUs? (and who buys them) :P

  • Well it was 8 years ago so things have changed.

  • Probity wont risk it go with 300 400 watts

  • Nice video.

  • 1000 watts = about 14 cents every hour

    $3.36 a day.

    $100.80 a month!

Wow! and thats just your computer!

  • That's only if you're running max load all the time with you computer on 24/7.

  • Also, most people wouldn't be using up to 1000w, and most only have it on when needed, which is about 12 hours a day for me, so lets say I use 500w and 12 hours a day, lol thats like 25$ a month from my pc :D

  • I have a macbook on about 12 hours a day, 75 cents a month :)

  • very few people actually max out these power supplies. the reason they get them is because of efficiency. most, if not all PSU's, are best at 50% load. so you'd wanna get a power supply that's rated for roughly double that which your rig requires. it helps you save money and means that less energy goes to waste. I hope this answered your question, and keep your questions coming =P

  • No, most are most efficient at 80% load.

  • No, unless they are 80%+ certified they get less than 80% at MOST.

newegg has 6?? GOLD certified PSU's meaning they get typical 90% efficiency.

  • Unless the powersupply is older than 3-4 years. 80+ certification is a relatively new thing, and older PSUs work just fine but usually aren't certified.

  • ~1200 a year =S

  • this is a seasonic with diferent brand

  • probably some people got offended with kickass so now is great

  • actually he says great alot. when a product is a little less than kickass

  • yeah, few are kickass.. ro

  • wattz's low

  • damn thats a strong PSU to handle a high high end pc like int he review

  • great product?? i expected you to say kickass product but great review Rodney 5/5

  • I'm confused, why'd he only give it "Great" That's the lowest rating he ever gives stuff and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the product.

  • yep, this psu is a little better then great but I dont have it so I cant really argue on this.

  • One time he gave something good value. But I agree with you the PSU looks pretty nice.

  • He can't afford, lol :P

I'd rather wait till GT300, then HD58** get's cheaper as well.

  • Nice PSU

  • 3 VIDEOS TILL NEXT KICKASS GAMING RIG!!!!

Oh no, it's probably gonna be with HD5870...

  • Since this is the Nexus RX-6300 630W Power Supply Video Review, the Nexus RX-6300 630W Power Supply was used ;) The Enermax Revolution85+ 1050W PSU is one I use in my rig: RodsRig com

  • i'm using a 610 watt pc power and cooling. and i like it

  • yeah, pcpc are fantastically reliable psu's

  • how the hell can you even have 2 power supplies in a pc? i thought you could do only 1. explain this shit for me plz

  • Ill send you a message on this.

  • Hmm crossair PSU rip-off in terms of design?

  • Any good company that finds someone's good design will use a similar design on there own products, its just the way business goes.

It is most likely a perfectly capable PS, while offering a competitive price.

    =)

  • haha my air conditioner kicked on right as he flipped the switch to listen to the fan and i thought "holy crap thats loud"

  • oh yes the rail discussion! haha oh rodney. you'd think we'd learn what rails are. one question though is which is better, one huge rail or multiple rails?

  • One huge

  • i'm willing to take you at face value but could you explain why?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO 3dgameman, thanks for the review! :D

  • just to put this in.. the quality WILL IMPROVE in a while.. jsut relax ^^

  • ohh.. lol

  • for a second i thought this was a 6300W psu D:
