It's not really a matter of caring. It's virtually impossible not to know who Barack Obama is. I mean, the coverage of his induction was so widespread and intensive, that you would have to have been living under a rock not to know who he is.

Theoretically he could've pled guilty to manslaughter or something and got a lighter sentence, or he might've just hit her but not killed her and it was only attempted murder. Either way, that doesn't detract from the point of the movie, which has a good message and I respect X for doing things like this, dispite whatever judgement anybody may pass on his life. Like he said, let he without sin cast the first stone. 1

This movie is actually reallly horrible. But this part (dmx scene) is the best. This is the reason I rented the movie. But It's a pretty bad movie. One of the worst I've seen. It's like high school kids got a camera and ran around filming stuff.
