Why do people have to be so hateful on youtube? I think both versions of this song are amazing...Simon and Garfunkel for obviously writing it and their rendition is amazing and i love what hear'say did with the harmony...They are both brilliant in their own right...:)

Thank you Simon and Garfunkel for one of the all-time classics.

And thank you Hearsay, for being able to encapsulate in 4 minutes the whole essence of what is wrong with the "talent" which is unearthed via the now ubiquitous TV talent show. If ever I find myself thinking that maybe, just maybe, they will unearth some real talent, I simply remind myself of this aberration and quickly come to my senses.

I don't doubt the sincerity of their intent, but as for execution - they should be.

They split coz, the boys weren't interested in being famous anymore, they were just happy to have won the comp, all three females are still semi famous, Kim Marsh went solo and was dating the guy who played Jamie Mitchell Suzanne married Darren day and Myleene is very successful and OMG she plays that piano beautifully

No - they weren't shite. The true story I remember as it goes was that they were so successful in having strong number ones that they no longer recognised how to compare they are singing tune wise. There was also conflictions between members. Still best group singers from Pop Idols along people like Kelly Clarkson and such

I'll tell you what happened, they were reduced to playing pubs, cuz they were shite, which impacted their ego's and caused friction between the band mates. Each accusing one another of holding them back. Apparently the one on corrie was the only one being held back (not a lot mind you) because the rest are all homeless or so I've heard, or wished.
