Nope. He recorded this before his voice change. Plus, he definitely doesn't sound like a sopranista to me. :)

Aled had a distincitve voice which he maintained through age 14. Only by chance and the efforts by one woman from his church was his voice brought to the attention of recording personnel. Thank goodness for that. Aled loved singing and sang with great joy and passion.

@sfkcbf In fact Aled kept singing later than 14 - he "retired " on his 16th birthday! And yes he had a wonderful voice - and still gives great pleasure with his adult voice

@sfkcbf yes thankfully he was recorded,i remember being really moved by this as a choirboy,havent heard it in 25years, must of just got posted recently. Thank goodness for that also ;-)
