I saw the same thing happen on the same night here in Amarillo Tx, we were on I-40 when we saw it. Pretty cool

Thanks for positng. I was walking my dog in N. Phoenix, AZ and it happend right infront of me. From my perspective the meteor was traveling from south to north and low in the sky. It was on a flat trajectory and a brilliant green right thru the burn out... There was alot of pre-new years eve fireworks going off all over N. Phoenix and I thought this was a pretty cool that God got his own pyrotechnics in that people are still talking about !

@sneakerset Glad you enjoyed it! I am indeed aware of the other channel, and I actually didn't have a problem with them using it... until they started profiting from it. Using my clips is perfectly fine under Fair Use for non-profit research/educational purposes, but someone doesn't realize that you cross a line when you put up ads on other peoples' content. :) If you want raw footage send me a message and I can put it on a server for you..

We saw this too while watching fireworks on NYE in Gilbert, AZ. The tail of the green glowing ball was orange and fading like a blinking helicopter light. Thanks for posting!

I saw this brilliant show from New Mexico! Was driving from Artesia to Cloudcroft. It appeared high in the sky in front of me and went downward - it lit up the sky for a second! - turned blueish for a second and it had a trail of sparks. It was traveling West and downward and was slow for a meteor. I counted to 12 (about 10-12 seconds in duration!) it went black just before the horrizon. I wonder if anyone can find where it hit!. It was so large that it had to have some pieces hit the ground!..

at the same time in scottsdale az i saw a green oval shaped one with a long orange trail, traveled straight as an arrow for as long as i could see. it was headed north. i thought it was a ufo! never seen anything like it. it was amazing!

There was two...one went across, then about am hour later, there was another going straight down, it was north near Prescott

meteorite entering the atmosphere... I saw a bright green one over the west valley one night back in October... hundreds of these happen every day all over the world.... ABC 15 is asking if this is a UFO on facebook.. morons...

I saw this live from 16st and Indian school and I can say, it looked nothing like a meteor.. it was traveling straight horizontal, and north bound. So low to the ground that I lost sight of it when it went behind a 1 story home with a church attic type roof. I have seen many meteor showers by the way, and never saw anything like this.

I saw this over at the JW marriot! Not sure if this was the exact one, the one I saw had quite a tail on it and lasted for about 8 seconds. It was amazing!
