Zoltan Kocsis did a solo interpretation of this song that is hard to play, but absolutely gorgeous. I've also heard a version that was yo-yo ma and bobby mcferrin that was also quite lovely. I performed this with a friend of mine who played the claranet while i played the piano part and it also sounded quite nice, too.

Kocsis is one of my favorite pianists, listen to his chopin performances and you'll understand why.

Miklos Perenyi (the cellist) is really good. Mr. Perenyi's phrasing & intonation is flawless. Also lovely about this recording is its absense of excessive eccentricities of professionalism. It's just layed out before you, plain, beautiful, transparent.

J'ai eu la chance de l'entendre 4 fois en concert - toujours égal à lui-même : intègre, concentré, humble et d'un niveau inouï (formidable 6ème suite de Bach, fabuleuse sonate de Kodály, splendide "Arpeggione"...). Tout aussi impressionnant et passionnant en masterclass - à coup sûr un des plus grands !
