Are you familiar with myotonia congenita? Not saying it’s right, but maybe breeders choose to breed myotonic goats because they have more muscular bodies. I know nothing about goats, but I am a neurobiologist and know quite a bit about this condition (which does occur in humans as well). I’ll spare the neuro lesson, but I assume being more muscular could be seen as a good if a breeder is raising goats for meat?? To me it seems cruel, but I suppose it all depends on your perspective.
You are hilarious. You are a cutie and should not obsess about this. There is no such thing as a hard core goat breeder. Those people are freaks. Do you have a boyfriend? You could get one easily. Chill out on the goats. Kiss a boy and relax. If people don't get it, fuck 'em. Goat tastes so good. I love it. Roasted on a pit! Yummm.

The fainting goats are used in I think it was Africa, as bait so that the cows they own don't get eating by predator.
