I lost a plane with the fy20, where i discovered it had problems with the temperatuer as well... I now changed to an EageTree-System(Guardian), until now no issues at all...

Hi Alishanmao,

You have the chance to test this... please change your servos, use a stop vibration tape and test the FPVRaptor with FY 21 or 31...

And let us know if this is a good investment (Raptor+FY) or not...

The problem is the vibration of the FY21.

I noticed the same problem when I had not installed the stop vibration.

I think this is absolutely not right , I have the FY 21 AP and use the FPV raptor ex and have achieved around 4 kms of flight with it and have used all the modes of the 21AP on it like RTL,ACM,FAF,ABM etc not once but on many many occasions without any problems so this 21AP not being suitable for raptor is not right I think the problem is you are not flying the plane like a FPV plane but more like an aerobatic plane . Fly the plane to its character and you will get the best out of it.

Ali I got the raptor after watching your videos (thanks) can you tell me which has more room for fpv: Rap or Skywalker? Which is more stable (I also have the FY30a) Will I have issues with the FY30A and the stock servos???? yet to fly.

See @alishanmao , i said it was the servos, the one Hextronic Metal Gear servos, do not work with Gyro's I think i will change it for Emax Metal Gear servos...! Have you changed the servos of the Raptor?? Good Luck with it, Luiz Paulo.

@CyberPilot360 flight stabilization was turned off, but Return to base turned on accidentally just for a moment and it went to spirals

How did you repair the plastic fuselage?

@pyrojets just used my hands and some hard plastic stuff to bend it back to shape. it was not broken, just bent

Ali, were the FY's control outputs reversed? I'm sitting here scratching my head...thinking about what the heck went wrong.

I've got a Ruby from uThere installed on my Radian, and even if the manual controls seemed correct it is possible that the autopilot could still deflect the control surfaces in the wrong direction. I'm sure you probably already figured out the problem, so let us curious minds know what you found out:)

@realtvnow nops, I doubled checked for FY21AP controls they were not reversed. all was working in right direction. it was very strange when i turned stabilization on, it just went crazy every time.

it is either to much movement on the servos, the pots are on to high or you need to put some foam under the wires soming out of the fy21ap

I have a fy20 in a EZ * and it does the same thing............with the same results. I have changed everything I can think of and it still does it. Took it out and am wondering what to do next .Hope you get it figured out... I have given up.

Man, sometimes the servos do not accept stabilizations systems or something like that... Change the stock servos... It will work..! :)
