@HellsAngels0012 hehe my free trial just ended. i want to buy the game. never played UO but ive never come across something like this game. went to an "easy" dungeon with my friend and thought it was going to be a piece of cake. killed one goblin warlord and thought that was the boss rofl. then we went further and 3 more came out. so many wtf moments. ran past undead knights, warlords etc for 3 hours. in the last room we needed a key for the reward. lol it was SO worth the fun though :D

This is why UO failed... It used to be that you could be very succesful by just being creative, not learning every skill offered by the game...

I liked the video, but it wasn't the best. I think you could really show more parts of the gam, and more and more types of combat, but I did like the commentary. I did wish you explored more areas and showed and told us about the community and what happens on higher levels. Still, I like it. Good job.

At my time of playing, and as I said in the video, I'd barely experienced much of the game so I don't have first hand knowledge of what goes on at higher levels sadly! The videos are more aimed at a new player's early hours in DFO.

From what I've seen they are fixing alot of bugs indeed, and constantly adding cool content. I think you'd be quite surprised if you tried the game out again. Its certainly got a way to go til its really polished like games such as WoW and EVE (i'm sure it will be one day) but things are progressing very well

the spot you are at right now use to be one of the hotspots for pvp and pve. you could make thousands of gold easily there, so it was always packed. but AV fucked it up by nerfing the kobold spawn rate and nerfing the quest rewards. LAME! so now its always empty like in the video. ahhh good times good times.

Tip, You don't need to have gank and revive on your toolbar since they are default of the "z" and "x" keys. Secondly make sure if you are low in a fight like that you take food and heal prior to looting.

About the alignment, being red is not a big deal. IF you want to do quest, you have to stay blue. Same if you want to buy items from NPC's, you have to stay blue, but once you have a clan, you got enough gears in your bank, being red is not a problem at all.

Oh and if you kill or gank a BLUE player and you are BLUE you get -8 alignment.

If you do go RED and are on a bindstone with Guard Towers, you will be kicked to a chaos stone. A bindstone without towers. Or if you're in a guild it will try to kick you to their bindstone first.

To earn alignment you must kill any RED player, even if it is a racial ally that is RED.

Alignment works as this: You can be anywhere from -100 to +10. 0 and up means you are BLUE, -1 and below means you are RED. Guard towers, located in every starter city, will attack any RED or GRAY player.

Best MMORPG - thats a tough question. As I said in the videos im only a few hours in so I am yet to experience proper PvP like the siege battles etc, so I cant judge yet. Its definitely one of the most refreshing fantasy MMO's ive played in a while and I'm really enjoying it!
