I feel like I should point out that the game isn't bad for begginers. This is the first Fire Emblem game I have ever played and I have still yet to lose anyone at all. Just play on easy and dont make stupid mistakes and you should be fine.

I thought this was one of my favorite stories from an RPG ever. It's massive, deep, has plot twists, and really keeps you thinking throughout. The characters are also great and you actually feel for them if they die.

I can't beat this game on easy mode without at least 10 restarts.. -_- You have to be good to beat it without restarting once the whole game. Curse you, crossbowers!!! >:(

It pisses me off how all the reviews for this game suck. The only reason the reviews suck is because you have to play Path of Radiance to know what's going on, but that is NOT A BAD THING!!! This game is by FAR the best FE game out there and it is a masterpiece.

And who cares if the game doesn't appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers? By trying to make games like that, Nintendo is only making their games suck. They should keep the casual games casual and the hardcore games hardcore.

I agree, IGN Gave it a pretty good review though. I think your right about the Path of Radiance thing, although since I am playing Path of Radiance first, Im cool with it XD. Think Sacred Stones is the best though, I think part of it could be that the reviewers who play these games are not used to having to plan out their attacks and actually "Think" about what they need to do. The brutal difficulty doesn't help them with that, but that is part of the charm and what makes it a hardcore game :)

The great thing about FE games is that they take a fair amount of strategy and mental skill to play, whereas many other Nintendo games do not. (many, not all.)

ehh i think path of radiance had a better story than this one, i think it was because with radiant dawn they had many main characters so i didn't see the depth in character and story like in path of radiance, the story of ike was great in path of radiance

actually if u connect ur memory card and it has an easy save file from fire emblem itll screw up your game, its some sort of glitch...or so ive been tolkd

it is your choice to spend the money. i've played the other ones and i liked this one. if you like this type of game, you'l like it. you mite get lost in the story once or twice. it is very hard it spots thou

I would say this is a great game if you are a fan of strategic rpgs however i dont think this is the best Fire Emblem game to start with as i think you get more out of it if you have played 1 or 2 others first, particularly its prequel Path of Radiance. So bascialy a really fun game but maybe not the best starting point.

I think the best singleplayer wii games are Zelda:TP, Mario Galaxy,Metroid Prime 3 and Fire emblem.

The multiplayer Brawl and Mario kart!

@MR5Martin seriously, u have to follow my advice

buy red steel 2 (awesome swordfighting, much, much better than any other wii game)

and monster hunter 3 (if u like hardcore gaming/hard bosses, and nice online multiplayer)

u wont regret it, those are imo the best wii games

At first I have Red steel 2(good,but somehow I'm never in the mood to play it!^^) and Monster Hunter 3(awesome online gameplay!).

And the games I already said which are good are still!

Well, Metroid Prime 3 not...since ther's trilogy!^^

Of course new games like Galaxy 2,other M and new super mario bros. wii are awesome too.
