  • why doesnt he talk like that in movies...he needs some scot roles

  • hes british?

  • @jobeas1 he is actually Scottish

  • @11332g yes but Scotland's in Britain

  • haha. I've never commented like this, because I think it's stupid

but hit 2 and 5, he does the Roxbury dance.

  • @Deadbeliefs Haaaahahahaaha! Good job XD

  • Why is there no trailer of coriolanus,is it even released, someone give my some info please.

  • I am curious what they will do with Act IV when Coriolanus shows up naked at Aufidius' door nearly naked and Aufidius waxes poetic about his wet dreams for Coriolanus.

I can handle some bromance, but that scene is straight up homo-erotic, Shakespeare style. I nearly died when I saw Brokeback Mountain because it turned two sex symbols (for me) into my gay homeboys. I don't ever, EVER, EVER want to think of my beautiful, infallible, untouchable Gerard Butler like that...

  • Yup and I've also noticed there are times when the critics don't like the film but DO like Gerry's performance in it.

  • Phantom <3

  • i cant wait to see Coriolanus! Ralph Fiennes and Gerry Butler in the same movie? HOTTNESS OVER LOAD!

  • Hit :32 again.

  • The irony amuses me. He's talking about Shakespeare during press rounds for a Jennifer Aniston romcom.;

  • Film is in Belgrade :D

  • Gerard Butler is the best actor in the world, he can do everything acts in almost every roll, comedy, thriller, musical, action and for god sake he is plays the voice of Stoick for crying out loud. THUMBS this up if you think he is the best actor.

  • @Shocklitchip Oh, I totally I agree with you....he is so magnetic. He is perfection....love him, love him!! We are so lucky to have him.

  • It's always lovely to hear his gorgeous Scots accent. When he is interviewed in America, he always seems to speak in that dreadful mid Atlantic drone.

  • It was just announced that this film will be previewed at the Berlin Film Festival next month. This is Butler's last shot at stardom or it's back to silly sex comedies with faded starlets until his looks go and he's lucky if he can get character parts.

  • @audiesgirl Oh that would be sooooo sad. I am actually hoping he will get recognition for his role in "Machine Gun Preacher", since it is based on a true story of children being saved and the amazing person he will be playing.

  • Strange play to choose to film. Coriolanus is possibly the obscurest Shakespeare play.

  • I felt sorry for how badly Butler was used in Phantom (Fiennes should have played the part, even if the vocals had to be dubbed) but it's not his fault he was cast in a major musical when his voice was so unsuited. I hope this movie does well, it's his last chance to make his mark as a serious dramatic actor or else be relegated to the occasional silly sex comedy.

  • @audiesgirl

It's funny how you keep on coming back n forth in this video to talk shit about Gerard over and over again repeating the same fucking sentences. LMAO

you're hopeless. Gerard will always be loved not only as a personality but as a person. He is talented, down to earth, genuine and sincere. not to mention good-looking. so FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!

  • Shut the fuck up Gerard !!!! This is NOT Spartaaaaaaaaaa !!!

Im not dining with Jennifer Aniston in some fency restaurant.. Tonight We Dine In Hell !!!!!!

  • @HUNGerryButlerFAN

Ralph Fiennes made an excellent Heathcliff... not to mention a stunning one. ;)

  • Whether the movie is good or bad it is a pleasure to watch him. :)

  • Just keep challenging yourself Gerard, you're doing great !!! :)

  • The feeling I get when I look at this man makes me believe in love again.

  • have you noticed he rarely has movies released but there all really good when they do come out

  • @tacticalboi What are you talking about? In 2008/2009 he released 5 movies within about 9 months?

  • @Cocogirl29 i posted that 7 months ago lol

  • @tacticalboi are you fucking high???

  • Lets share... he is yummie ♥

  • @LucillaMor I`m in, too! :D <3 <3 <3

  • @GORIZARD4

I agree with you. I love Gerard, but I hope he turns to more serious roles soon.

  • @monimarz

RockNRolla was the perfect role for him in my opinion

  • @HiyoruMikiyazoya I agree with you. I think RockNRolla was a good balance for him.

  • @HiyoruMikiyazoya I agree with you. I think RockNRolla was a good balance for him.

  • @HiyoruMikiyazoya I love him very much in PS I LOVE YOU, but in rockNrolla, was gerry "the guy".

  • I ask you if you did not understand , write o me ! I learn the English language !!!

  • Dear AmericanEvita! You're absolutely right! I and my sister agree with you! He did not have memorable films really recently Gerry more talented than that let us see it in so easy roles. The works that you mentioned ,very good and these roles are appropriate to him especially really Heathcliff and Edward Rochester , and Mercutio role would suit him well .

  • I love his ears

  • sexy Gerard Butler. O_O

  • this is set in modern times just to let u know

  • i fukin love gerrard buttler his gawgus <3 lol and i love his accent hahaha or wen he speeks american either way hes stil one of the fittest men alive <3

  • He really is a good actor, i am happpy to see him doing this. He has been playing under himself for quite some time now.

  • Well finally! It was about bloody time they cast Gerard Butler in a quality drama. He hasn't done anything that's quality since Phantom of the Opera and 300. He has been doing too many action movies and romantic comedies. He should definitely do period costume dramas - Shakespeare, Jane Austin, Bronte, Victor Hugo, James Joyce, Henry James; He can be a terrific Henry James male character., I can also see him portraying a great Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights

  • @AmericanEvita

I absolutely agree with u! I miss him a lot! Well, that not mean he not doing good act. I do laugh a lot when I watch the Ugly Truth and Bounty Hunter and I love his role in Law Abiding Citizen. But I miss his phantom a lot. or anything like period costume drama or colosal drama like in 300. Miss him a lot in such role!
