  • I am a mauritian , my deepest condoleances to the family McAreavey ,, feel that those who have done that should severely be punished .. why in this case death sentence ?? Rip michaela ..

  • R.I.P Michaela very sad !

  • I watch this now and still cry, i seen her everyday in school. She said hello to me every single morning..:'( and i just cant get over the fact i will never see her again:'( i love you miss harte-3 gone but never ever forgotten:(

  • my second name is McAreavey but i live in Scotland

  • This is very very sad. My condoleances to Michaela's family and husband John. I left Mauritius a very long time ago as a teenager to settle in Australia. Been on holidays a few times and I've seen this beautiful peaceful island change for the worst every time. Nearly been attacked on the beach myself a few times myself - if it wasn't for the kindness of a passer by warning me. Mauritius used to be a nice place - no more. Too many clowns at the top.

  • what a sad case. it seems that she saw the burglars and they stupidly killed her. instead of a burglary charge they made a murder charge :(

  • I told U guys that Mauritius is more dangerous than South Africa, Nigeria, Somalia and Afganistan or even Irak. I told people on every website I could about this issue. People insulted me for saying that. I have seen so many attacks on people there. There are even Terror.... cells there. The govt knows about this. The TERROR..TS burned Amicale port louis(a casino) and killed a mum and her 2 baby daughters plus 5 other innocents. Im really sad for Michaela.

  • @albabazot wat the fuck ur exagerating south african nigeria etc....the countries u mention is undoubtedly more dangerous than mauritius.mauritius have almost the lowest rate crime in african countries!!

  • Forget the government, they are going to do nothing to make sure that such thing do not repeat again. we need to stand up us the people of the wold and if we boycott the mauritian government right now by stop traveling to this island, we can force the government to amend the law and reinstate the capital punishment for murder and rape and some of the worst things.

If the people boycott, it's going to be powerful, we the people are more powerful than any standing army and we can have change.

  • I'll never go to Mauritius.

  • i am from Mauritius to but when i see things like I'm seek have can things like happens? only things i can i fills so sorry for this family..
