  • also you do not have to have seen Jesus to be an apostle.Paul never saw Jesus in the flesh yet he was also an apostle..That verse in ephesians 4:11 where it say that he gave some apostles, some prophets, etc. says that they were given for the perfecting of the saints, the work of the ministry, and edifying of the body...If you say they are no longer here then you are saying the saints are perfect, the church is built all the way up,and the work of the ministry is done.and that is absolutely false

  • This message right here is furthering the debate and furthering the division in the church.....He is doing exactly what he is accusing them of....Its praying time church

  • 6:25 This gentleman begins to deconstruct his argument and his false system of doctrine...

  • Who is this fool? Hes got it all wrong. What these christian rappers rap about is how they have changed for the better when they have given their life to christ. They rap about how we should put our focus on Him instead of money. this is just like that guy i think craig lewis was is his name sayin that christian rap is bad because its origin is secular. well christian rap has brought many to christ because they speak on the things that they used to go through and how with God u have hope

  • "Your not going to make money when your not in agreement with the man" LOL not that he is not in agreement with God wow Bad debater and bad message Frederick K. Price Jr.

Then he thows in leagalism LOL wow

  • this is causing more division. Attacking sold out belivers for Jesus Christ who are sounded in their walk and preachers of the gospel before rapping

  • I think you are refering to the sermon, in which case I say "Amen"

  • This cat has said, "if people dont agree with Doc then we will not carry them" You should be frustrated that people dont agree with the Bible not your Pastor. Thats heretical

  • apostle price don't teach nothing but the bible so if you don't agree with Him you don't agree with the bible.

  • Say what?

  • The fact that you called the guy an apostle is unbiblical. You're not making too great a case for your argument.

  • explain how that's unbiblical

  • Simple: the office of apostleship, in the bible, is reserved who saw Jesus in the flesh, not just somebody who plants a few churches. If Paul hadn't run into Jesus He wouldn't have the right to call himself apostle.

  • So that would make every single person that "saw Jesus in the flesh" apostles right??

just take a moment to read what you are typing

  • That wasn't an exclusive statement. Seeing Jesus in the flesh was one of the prerequisites. The title "apostle" has the idea of being sent personally. The authority of the apostle is in the one who sent him, the authority of a preacher is in his message.

  • where is that in the bible?

  • The words "apostle" and "preacher" are in the Bible. The definitions are in lexicons and concordances. While you're in the concordance, you can look up all the places where "apostle" and "preacher" show up and that should answer your question.

  • you still didn't show me where it say that "the office of apostleship, in the bible, is reserved who saw Jesus in the flesh" in the bible. because from what i remember the Apostle Paul himself said "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers" in Ephesians 4:11

  • Maybe this will help you. Try finding an apostle in the bible who didn't see Jesus in the flesh. He did give some apostles: Paul and the rest of the 12, and Jesus himself if you want to get technical, but the all saw Jesus. When he wrote that, there were still living apostles around, eye-witnesses of Jesus' ministry.

  • so if thats the case that should mean that in order for apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors & teachers to be called they should have seen Jesus in the flesh???

  • Are you listening to what I'm saying, or just trying to defend yourself? Nothing I said implies your conclusion. I don't understand where you're coming from. But i will say this: The fact that Paul said that God gave some apostles, prophets, etc. does not mean there still has to be some around today. "gave" is past tense. Now niether does it mean there are none today. But the point is that the passage has nothing to do with the amount or time slot of these people, only thier function...

  • ...futhermore, I'd be delighted to help you find the truth, but if you're going to continue to have the kind of attitude you've had thus far, we're not going to make any progress. It won't matter what I tell you, because you'll continue to draw bunk conclusions from my statements, and not actually look this stuff up. And even if you look it up, you'll look it up with the attitude you have which may prevent you from finding truth. Let's not waste our time.
