@theimpossiblers True, there are some other cases where composers, such as John Williams, Danny Elfman, and Alan Silvestri have that same sort of problem. Sometimes their scores sound a bit too bombastic for the wrong occasions.

@Hakudo2VisualKei some of the romantic scenes and filler tend to be really boring though, but the action is the greatest. personally, favorite style for mission impossible. the intensity, the pacing and this music make it fit together really nicely. like abrams took all the fluff out of john woos and replaced it with good direction

JJ Abrams really was the perfect person to adapt MI3 into a movie, considering his T.V background, even the score sounds like a throwback to the older spy shows.
