  • lo maximo MM maestro...!!!

  • HELP, COMPUTER...

"i got a couple games my mom put on it...GERRRHERERE"

  • Beyonds words to describe the wondrous beauty of your playing !!! THANK YOU MIKE !!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mike Master Mangini. Técnica, Velocidade, Feeling, Pegada, Inspiração, Energia, Simpatia, Empatia... Sinergia. Congratullations Bro!!!

  • This is awesome. But now we need some "Myung-cams". I'd probably shit myself if that would happen.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT THE DRUMS LOUDER ON THE NEXT ALBUM

  • Comment removed

  • @BOOLsheet they're far too quiet!

  • @BOOLsheet mainly the bass drums, i cant hear when he is using two different bass drums at once. i can if i really listen, but they should be loud enough to be heard without trying hard.

  • Watching Mike play these parts make you realize how much detail you don't hear on the album, freaking amazing!!!

  • gosto do geito como ele monta o kit dele

  • I WANNA SEE MOREEEEEEE!

  • I want to see the entire show from this angle!!!! Mike Mangini has transformed this band into a *real* progressive band (imo!).

  • i love this point of view!!

  • More videos please I love this shit. Bag Portnoy all you like but he definitely enjoyed posting videos of himself bashing the sticks.

  • people may criticize his solos but his contribution to the songs has nothing to complain, all his parts are amazing

  • should post and entire song whit this camera

  • How do you play anything with all that flashing stuff going on. My mind would flip out. Mike your a natural. Long live the Man Genie!

  • MORE MORE MORE.... Keep it coming MM!

  • Yeaaaaaaaaaaah...

    Greeeeat!

  • awesome

  • I bet the only DisLike here in Mike Portnoy :) man he sure is pissed! Selling his own friends surely hurts now, doesn't it?

  • this was at massey hall in Toronto... I was there... It was amazing. If you don't have tickets to a DT show coming to your city i suggest you get some.

  • 0:14

Did Mangini hit the rim of the snare drum then? :O Mistake!

Probably did it on purpose to prove to us that he is actually human lol

  • @ABFan010 Actually he did it to make us believe that he is human :)

It's a job requirement for DT - "Able to play minor mistakes at random, so people would believe that we are all human"

  • Just another reason why Mike's drums should be a tad louder in the overall mix on the album !!

  • On the backs of (amazing) Mangini...

  • It's truly amazing, the dynamic impact your intuitive playing has on the sound of the group as a whole. I'm so very happy that you're a permanent member, keep up the great work and I'll see you guys in Stockholm. :)

  • Keep the video's coming its awesome !!!

  • ΘΕΟΣ!

  • MORE OF THESE VIDEOS PLEASE!

  • More of these stuff mangini!!! U really bring a new flavour to the new album!!! More of such videos and longer or even better, FULL ones pls_

  • ugly set

  • 0:36

    7-7-3-5-5-7-3-9

Or: RLRLRLR RLRLRLR RLR RLRLR RLRLR RLRLRLR RLR RLRLRLRLR

There's the pattern for those of you wondering.

  • The hole song please

  • Nice clip keep making these, helps me understand what the hell he's really doing on that kit lol

  • And this is why the drums need to be brought up in the mix for their next album.

  • I want more!

  • Is MM play this drum part or computer ? :P

  • Awesome

  • 0:22 sounds awesome..

  • Mike Mangini is just that way....awesome drumming but without the ego

  • Mangini just raised DT higher than the unicycle clown

  • No había notado lo increible de la batería de Outcry!

  • Crazy shit..... wow... and which idiot knows so much about drumming that he decided to dislike this video

  • now i wanna see some drumcam footage of Bridges in the Sky !!

  • Is it necessary to have a Tom that big? haha

  • Who has the balls to dislike it? Mike Portnoy!

  • Boss!!!!!

  • I think you need more equipment.

  • Bellissimo!!!altre canzoni, per favore per favore per favore per favore per favoreeee!!!!!!!

Great, this song is probably the best song of the album, but I still can't decide which one definitely is. Such a hard thing to do..... :)

  • Good job.

  • Was this the Boston show?

  • This man is a awesome drum machine!

  • Mike please post more!

  • The coordination is tricky

  • Monster

  • Holy crap. Wrap around kit and a marathon of a song. This is why he's one of the best drummers in the world not.

  • @jamie30jamer Naw. The best is the drummer from Toe. (IMO.) :)

  • Dear Dream Theater mixing: In the next album, LOUDER DRUMS please!

  • @ironcaua We need the 'Stems' of all tracks :)

  • Dream Theater

  • dioooooooooooosss!! Genial!! *-*

  • Dream Theater facebookpage brought me here

  • @Haakhe so what now you are cool ?

  • i want see the whole thing

  • WOW!! awesome mangini......

  • Thats because we have a hard time hearing them on the album,i don't how they mixed it but seems the the drums are low compare to the rest of the band.

  • @dangerwilly I wouldn't say they are low, they just aren't punchy, you can hear them, but you cant "feel" them. that's my only gripe with this album is the mixing.

  • THE GENIE

    HOLY FUCK! lolz

  • whole song please!

  • GIVE US ALL SONG

  • I absolutley love this song, and the entire album! Excellent job executing these very difficult parts live here, besides clicking the rim of the octoban on the end of the fourth set of 16th notes in that first fill (0:03) and the other china/stack miss you mentioned... Can't wait to see DT live in Austin!

  • NOW ALL THE SONGS !!!!!

  • Those are some tasty drums parts; I love having MM in the band!

  • Holly hell 0_0

  • great Mike!

  • didn't realise how much there was in the drum part for this song. incredible job!

  • @PMillais123 It's a prog band. Even the simplest stuff will always have some nice decorations on top :)

  • @PMillais123 And right there you have the biggest problem with ADTOE. The drums are way to silent! I want to hear Mangini play, and it is pretty much only Bridges in the Sky that gives him a little space. Coincidence that Bridges in the Sky is also the best song on the album? I think not.

  • Brings DT to a whole new level. MM a perfect fit.

  • @polygoncrazystudio I'm sorry but cannot understand this kind of comments...??? What NEW level?

  • @Scanhorst Im sorry that you cannot understand my comments. I said it as plain as I can. But I will try to explain further. DT, in my opinion has brought their playing to a new level. Instead of being stuck in the "Metal" box that MP stuck DT in for the last few albums, they have been able to spread their wings and progress musically. Thus the name of the genre "Progressive." DT were getting stale. Each album was sounding too metal, not progressive. So DT with MM is at a whole NEW level.

  • @polygoncrazystudio i still thought they were prog. but before, images was different from awake, awake was different from infinity, that was different from metropolis 2, they were all different from each other until octovarium. with that album chaos was the same, and black clouds was pretty much same too. each chorus was bland, the versus had no technical parts, they just seemed dull DT. with this album they have broken out of that.

  • Mike you are my heroo!!

  • Such an energy!

  • MM brought me here too

  • Fits perfectly on DT... Thank you so much mr Mangini :,)

  • MM brought me here
