W Polsce było też wielu husytów, ale nie mogliśmy się przyłączyć do powstania, bo musieliśmy się podlizywać Rzymowi żeby akceptował działania przeciw Krzyżakom. In fact, 100 years after that, other parts of the Europe started to do, what Hussities started. This Hussite war was fault of Christian monks, bishops and pope. @tcoudi I doubt there are better medieval movies from either Czech or Slovak Republic.And well...I believe that during the times when Žižka was still alive they had some decency; they had the War Code of Žižka,which told them not to kill each other, not to torture or mutilate and they behaved as it told them to (otherwise the penalty for disobeying was death) so they werent all that devilish. But on the other hand, when he died,they started they own rampaging.But, who in those times was humane?

@sawek9999 Kdyžtak v roce 1938; v roce 1939 už jsme byli okupováni a pro Polsko (které se proti ČSR přidalo k Hitlerovi) válka teprve začínala. Ale "mieliśme" i v tom roce '38! Prezident Beneš a politické vedení státu se rozhodlo kapitulovat, protože v Mnichově nás celý svět vydal do rukou Hitlerovi. (Jedině SSSR nám chtěl pomoci, ale vzhledem k jeho povaze je velkou otázkou, co za "pomoc" by to bylo.) Nakonec jsme díky německé propagandě vypadali jako rušitelé míru my a ne nacistické Německo!

Nonsense, Zizka and the Hussites fought for localised privileges in the face of coercive royal forces from their own kings (Vaclav IV and Sigismund) and surrounding German princes and prelates. The radical Taborite armies of Zizka may have been inspired by extremist Utraquist theology based on Hus's writings, but they were above all fighting for better living conditions and the rights of the lower orders in the face of magnate and monarchical repression.
