Any of you sf fans ever play karateka or Kung fu master? Look at them (84), then at classic Ryu or ken (87)... While yes many sf characters are fairly original, your series' poster boy, aside from most special moves, is a design done many, many times before... And if we must talk of direct rips, I'd say ken got his flaming uppercut from kyo...

@MasterOfClix I agree with you for the most part. The one thing is that Ken got the flaming shoryuken in Super Street Fighter II, which came out in 1993. Kyo didn't exist until KOF's debut in 1994.

Love how sf fan boys come onto KoF videos to compare the similarities. There is no way a 2D fighter can be so different to each other that it does not resemble some elements to each other in any way. Hell if this was even possible people would still say it copied the other game because it's 2D. Play it or don't but leave it at that.

i'm not saying Duo Lon is worse than Dhalsim or anything, i'm just saying "if you're going to have moves that closely resemble moves of a famous character that done that much before you, you will get comparisons and will be refferenced to that character"

Same happens with Sakuya, Ultimecia and Aeon always getting "ZA WARUDO" jokes xD

i have never heard of Rousai so wouldn't be able to piece them together, so thanks for pointing out this anime(basilisk), it looks interesting :3

And yeah Dhalsim and Duo Lon are very different in therms of occupation, dressing and personalities, still the little they have in common is enough to bring up comparisons! XD

Duo Lon always seemed odd to me...at least the stretching limbs explain how come he can keep his foot like that and is not broken! xD

And yeah one can't help but to think of Dhalsim when seeing those moves...

As for who'd win? Depends! Put both in a SNK VS Capcom game to find out!
